Railcamp...An unforgettable outdoor experience!

RailCamp is a converted narrow gauge boxcar equipped to function as a wilderness recreational vehicle! The RailCamp is a self-contained unit that provides facilities for up to six people. Amenities include bunk beds, kitchen area, dining area, linens, shower, restroom facilities, and water for one week. The RailCamp is set out at Cascade Canyon Wye, just over half-way to Silverton, in a secluded area along the Animas River. RailCamp’s season is June through September and trips depart on the train on Mondays and return on Fridays.

Weekly rental fees:

$1,600 for up to six overnight guests. Two round-trip train tickets are included.
