Gather up your favorite cowboys and cowgirls to enjoy true western poets, entertainment and food when you ride this special train to Cascade Canyon.

A special D&SNGRR trip to Cascade Canyon! Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering entertainers will be performing onboard and during the lunch stop at Cascade Canyon. Hear the music, poetry, stories and yes, a few tall tales of the West! We expect the autumn colors to be near their peak in early October!

Enjoy your lunch along the banks of the Animas River.
Fare includes a Beef Brisket sandwich, chips and lemonade served at Cascade Canyon. Plan for a sweet treat on your return train ride back to Durango! Full beverage service and additional food items are available for purchase in our Concession Car. Cowboy Poet train -Nomad

NOMAD: Passengers riding in the Presidential-class "Nomad" will receive a morning pastry, a large D&SNG tote bag, a souvenir mug and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages all day! The Nomad offers two distinctively appointed seating areas, plus features a private stateroom that accommodates four. A large outdoor viewing platform is exclusively available to those who choose this class. Maximum 16 seats sold in this car!

SAN JUAN: Passengers in the Deluxe-class San Juan will receive a souvenir mug and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages all day while riding in this distinctive closed-vestibuled coach from 1887. It features roomy, reversible, overstuffed seating in a wide three-across arrangement. Maximum 30 seats sold in this car!

STANDARD-CLASS COACH: Enjoy all the music onboard and the great barbeque at Cascade Canyon while riding in one of our 44-seat standard-class coaches!
