Experience turn-of-the-century ambiance with your loved one onboard a Premium-class car or vintage coach traveling along the Animas River.

All passengers can enjoy a beautiful day riding the vintage train through the pristine wilderness to Cascade Canyon. One of the D&SNG's favorite musicians, Tim Guidotti, will be strolling through the cars playing guitar and singing songs of love. Requests are encouraged! All passengers will receive a special Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory treat and a glass of complimentary champagne or sparkling cider.

The Concession car will have a full bar as well as lunch and snack items available for sale all day. 

Enjoy riding your choice of the Alamosa Parlor Car, the Cinco Animas, Prospector, San Juan or a vintage Coach.

Return to Durango at twilight to join your fellow riders at a banquet set in your honor in the private Pullman Room at the Historic Strater Hotel.  A cash bar is available to enjoy your favorite cocktail with dinner and Tim Guidotti will again serenade you with his ballads and songs! 

Schedule:

Train departs Durango at 1:30 pm; returns at 6:30 pm.

Dinner at The Strater 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

Fares and Classes of Service:

Train-only Package includes train ride in your choice of car, live music on board, complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider and chocolate treat.
Dinner Package includes all the above plus dinner, live music, valuable door prizes, and roses for the ladies.

Premium Class options:

Prospector (seats 18), Alamosa Parlor Car (seats 24) or Cinco Animas Car (seats 16)
These Premium cars include a private attendant, cash bar, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

Enjoy the comfort of the roomy, reversible, overstuffed seats as you travel in this vintage coach built in 1887.

Enjoy the classic comfort in our vintage cars with flip-over seats to accommodate parties of 4 to face each other if desired.

Dinner Buffet includes:

Salad greens with variety of toppings & dressing, Salmon with Citrus Butte, Herb roasted chicken with borsoin cream sauce and a dessert bar.
