Please note that Cascade Canyon is a wilderness destination and there are no stores or restaurants, just a natural, scenic canyon with picnic tables along the Animas River and a covered pavilion just steps away from the train. We invite you to enjoy the convenience of lunch selections available onboard the D&SNG. In addition to our light lunch offerings in the Concession Car, guests can pre-order a special boxed lunch from Durango's Red Lantern Catering! All boxed lunches include RANCH POTATO SALAD (redskin potatoes, cheddar cheese, hardboiled eggs, celery & red onions folded into ranch sour cream) and a fresh slice of APPLE CAKE (roasted apples baked into a rich gingerbread cake, then dusted with cinnamon sugar).

Choose from three delicious sandwiches:
COWBOY MEATLOAF SANDWICH -a thick slice of beef & green chili meatloaf with roasted tomatoes and fresh greens on soft focaccia bread.
BBQ TURKEY BREAST SANDWICH –sliced barbeque-rubbed breast of turkey with fresh greens and whipped sweet potatoes spread on focaccia bread.
CHICKPEA WRAP (vegetarian & gluten free) -a green onion, black olive, mild chipotle pepper & chickpea salad wrapped in a fiesta tortilla with carrots, fresh greens and toasted onion cream cheese.
