Hand-made Fine Art Print Hand-pulled, fine art prints are original art, just as paintings and drawings are. The artist first makes a plate or matrix by drawing directly onto a stone or carving a design into a block of wood or onto a copper or zinc plate. The artist then inks the plate and prints multiple images from the single source. Each print is unique and will difer slightly due to the hand made process. Silkscreen prints are created by passing ink through seperate screens representing each color of composition. This original print's design elements are taken from technical schematics and blue prints contained within the D&SNGRR Museum archives. Each print is signed by the artist: Tom Liesegang.
