Looking to start your trip in Silverton? Our Silverton Silverlight Express is your ticket! This trip is ideal for passengers staying in Silverton, Ouray or Telluride wanting to experience the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad without making the early morning drive to Durango! Choose between any seating options on our 1:45pm train departure or 2:30pm departure from Silverton combined with a van shuttle service back in the evening departing from the Durango Depot at 7:00pm and arriving in Silverton (Grand Imperial Hotel) at 8:15pm. Enjoy some sightseeing, shopping or dinner in Durango prior to your transportation via van back to Silverton.

Trains leave Silverton at 1:45 and 2:30. Please be advised that seating is not assigned and is on first come, first served basis. Van shuttle service provided by Buckhorn Transportation.
Only Standard Class seating is available for booking online. Deluxe, First Class and Presidential must all be booked by phone by calling 1-877-872-4607. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Silverton. All ages need a seat on van regardless of buying a train ticket; children under 4 not occupying a train seat must still be booked for the van service. For bookings with children under the age of 4, or if needing a booster seat, please call reservations directly 1-877-872-4607.
