The Durango Blues Train features two onboard bars serving beer and wine, onboard dancing and the music of at least 6 separate musicians or bands!
The wine and brew trains feature great music, samplings of finely crafted alcoholic beverages and gourmet food.

The Durango Blues Train

The Durango Blues Train is a unique 'moving' experience featuring live blues acts while passengers travel aboard the D&SNGRR's coal-fired, steam-powered train to the spectacular and breathtaking "Highline" canyon of Colorado's San Juan National Forest. Presented by the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival and SBG Productions, this unique live music event takes place aboard the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in Durango, Colorado. Each night will feature a different lineup of six live blues artists for passengers to sing, sway and dance with.

Wine and Rails train
August 31 and September 19, 2014
Join us for a true experience to enjoy wine, rails and the wilderness! Board your coach on this all-premium-car consist pulled by an authentic steam locomotive. As you enjoy the ride through the Animas Valley and climb past Shalona Lake on the way to Rockwood, you will be introduced to the wineries and enjoy a light sampling of the various wines you can expect to learn more about at the event site.

The Brew Train
August 30 and September 20, 2014
An authentic 1920s steam locomotive will pull a narrow gauge train through the Animas Valley and on up over the dramatic highline, hundreds of feet above the Animas River. On board, skilled and knowledgeable craft brewers will introduce you to a light sampling of their fine beers and educate you about the process required for crafting each brew! A light snack will be provided during the morning trip.
