D&SNG Yard Tours

 

Yard Tours will be conducted once daily at Noon-  7 days a week during the summer season (May-October) only.

Check out a unique tour of the yard and roundhouse!
Get the inside story on this train’s 142 year history.
This is your chance to see the inner workings of the yard and shops with an experienced guide.

Take our tour of the D&SNG yard, machine shop, roundhouse, car shop, rolling stock, and museum with one of our tour guides.  Hear the history and see the behind-the-scenes operation of the railroad.

Fares:
Standard Tours for ages 6-12    $7.00
Ages 13+   $15.00
The minimum age to take a yard tour is 6 years of age.  No open-toe shoes. Please wear footwear appropriate for walking over uneven rocky surfaces.  Participants must be able to stand for 1.5 hours and walk .5 mile.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office. Online booking of yard tours is not available. Tours meet at the depot at the scheduled time.
