Cinco Animas
The Cinco Animas offers two elegantly appointed seating areas. You may choose to relax in built-in Pullman berth seating, or enjoy the views out the rear from the Observation Parlor Room. Amenities for the Cinco Animas include an onboard attendant, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, morning pastry, and one tote bag per couple/group.
A large outdoor viewing platform is exclusively available to those who choose this car.

“We have wanted to ride the Durango and Silverton Steam Train for years! My sister and I booked the very last car on the train…the Cinco Animas private car (adults only). What fun to step back in time to experience the feel of narrow gauge steam travel amid the beautiful Colorado fall colors!
We bought the guide book and our hostess provided lots of very interesting points and history, while serving food and beverages included in the ticket price, along with a souvenir travel cup and bag. We did the full day train to Silverton and back, and were glad we did! Even stepping out onto the observation platform was an experience we will never forget!”
